About Us
Mandi Schupbach
M.S., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)
I am a board certified and licensed acupuncturist who approaches my practice with warmth, compassion, and over 20 years of experience in healthcare.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, I worked as a Medical Assistant in emergency medicine and various outpatient settings, equipping me to address a wide range of health concerns from a holistic perspective. My clinical experience as an acupuncturist includes treating complex trauma, women’s health, patients in hospice or palliative care settings, addiction, those undergoing cancer treatments, autoimmune disorders, various pain and musculoskeletal disorders and more.
My journey into acupuncture began as a deeply personal one. After facing significant health challenges, failed treatments, and unsuccessful surgeries, I finally found relief through holistic treatments. I discovered that the physical manifestations of pain and disease I was experiencing were actually rooted in trauma that my body had never resolved. This realization inspired me to help others who may feel that conventional medicine alone cannot fully address their needs as a WHOLE person—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
I went on to earn my Master of Science in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, IL, and pursued advanced training in oncology acupuncture at RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center. Additionally, I am board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
As a practitioner, I prioritize truly listening to my patients' concerns and partnering with them to restore hope, balance, wellness, and long-term health. Whether you’re new to acupuncture or exploring alternative options, I would love the opportunity to support you on your journey to better health.
